Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) warehousing is an approach to warehouse design that uses specialised articulated forklifts — like the Nalift range — to operate in significantly narrower aisle widths than conventional counterbalance or reach truck equipment.
Conventional counterbalance forklifts require aisles of 3.5–4.5 metres. Reach trucks reduce this to approximately 2.5–3 metres. Nalift articulated forklifts operate in aisles from just 1.8 metres — unlocking the space those extra metres would otherwise consume.
The result: the same building footprint can accommodate dramatically more racking rows, more pallet locations, and more inventory — with no building extension required.
